Luc Pinsonneault has worked as Convention Manager for two majors conference hotels in Montréal as well as for the Greater Montréal Convention and Tourism Bureau (GMCTB - now Tourism Montréal), where he was in charge of reorganizing the Convention Services Department and coordinating relationships with City Officials and Bureau members. This function also included the creation and publication of the first Convention and Meeting Planners’ Guide, a complete reference guide reviewed annually, and the editing of all other Tourism Montréal publications in French and in English (Tourist Guide, Calendar of Events, City Maps, Restaurants Guide and promotional material). For four years, Luc Pinsonneault also coordinated Tourism Montréal’s major promotion strategies and fundraising campaigns overseeing budgets in the excess of $1 M dollars, mostly on the Canadian and U.S. markets. Luc Pinsonneault, Consultant ® has since planned and implemented national/international events and projects in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico on behalf of major international organizations such as UNESCO, NAFTA, United Nations, APEC as well as the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, the McGill Institute for the Study of Canada, Université de Montréal and several Federal Government agencies (Foreign Affairs, CIDA, Heritage, The Canada Council for the Arts).
For the past 3 years, Luc Pinsonneault has also served as Learning and Development consultant (Facilitation & Designer) for CIBC.
